5 Behaviors Workshop

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team

WORK EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ has a simple goal: To facilitate a learning experience that helps professionals and their organizations discover what it takes to build a truly cohesive and effective team.

The Five Behaviors profile, which provides both individual and team feedback, is grounded in the model described in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, the internationally best-selling leadership fable by Patrick Lencioni. With this program, participants will learn how, as a team, they score on the key components of the model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. Additionally, the program is powered by Everything DiSC®, a model that helps individuals to understand themselves and others better. Using these results, participants will be able to create a better, stronger team.

This Workshop Includes:

  • Two- Day Workshop for up to 12 attendees
  • Everything DiSC individual & team assessment
  • Individual, Group & Team Exercises
  • Mixed-Media Presentation
  • The Five Dysfunctions of a Team book
  • Workbook, Notebook, Pens and Promotional giveaway (including additional support materials)
  • Actionable post-workshop "To-Do's"

Simple. Personalized. Proven.

The single most untapped competitive advantage is teamwork.

To gain this advantage, teams must:

Trust One Another - When team members are genuinely transparent and honest with one another, they are able to build vulnerability-based trust.

Engage in Conflict Around Ideas - When there is trust, team members are able to engage in uniltered, constructive debate of ideas.

Commit to Decisions - When team members are able to offer opinions and debate ideas, they will be more likely to commit to decisions.

Hold One Another Accountable - When everyone is committed to a clear plan of action, they will be more willing to hold one another accountable.

Focus on Achieving Collective Results - the ultimate goal of building greater trust, conlict, committment, and accountability is one thing: the achievement of results.

How it Works:

  • We meet with you to ascertain your goals and concerns.
  • Team members are provided with an Everything DiSC assessment.
  • We meet briefly (typically 30 minutes) with each team member to get to know them and answer any individual questions.
  • Individual and team assessments are presented to management and workshop curriculum is tailored.
  • The workshop is coordinated and presented. Team member leave with actionable plans.
  • After several months, we meet again with each team member to check in on challenges and progress. A reassessment is conducted and the team is once again scored.
  • We meet with you to discuss key metrics, improvement, and set plans for moving forward to achieve results.

Putting it All Together

When we add in the Everything DiSC Model, team members really begin to understand each other’s behaviors, and can move from judging to respecting to valuing those differences. Everything DiSC provides deep insight into each team member’s needs and communication/behavioral style. With this information, you can better understand yourself and your teammates. You’ll also understand how to make simple adjustments to your own style so you can be more effective.

For example…

  • Team members who prioritize collaboration seek harmony on a team.
  • Others may prioritize relationships and seek acceptance from their teammates.
  • Some team members prioritize results and just want to get things done, so they seek action.
  • And team members who prioritize accuracy, may seek accurate information and facts.

So, when we put Everything DiSC together with The Five Dysfunctions of a Team model, we can focus on The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. This model will help you understand how your team behaves as a unit and how the team can change as a whole to work more effectively together and achieve exemplary results.

There are many reasons teams fail.

There's one proven way to help them succeed.
